Henry Stewart Talks (HST) is a successful Anglo-Israeli group producing two collections of specially prepared, animated, online audio-visual lectures by leading world experts in the fields of biomed and life sciences and business and management. HST is offering an exciting opportunity for highly motivated, talented individuals with excellent English to join its team and assist in further expanding its highly rated educational resource.
As a reviewer at HSTalks you will apply your extensive language skills to clearly and accurately review translations of educational materials intended for universities, pharma companies and scientists worldwide. Your input will help maintain quality assurance and terminology consistency.
The position is part-time and home based. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
· Reviewing subtitles created by third party using their web-based platform.
· Correcting grammar and spelling mistakes.
· Resolving any phrases that are missing in the original captioning process.
· Checking scientific terminology.
· Maintaining the high academic level of the original biomedical presentations.
Requirements:
· Academic degree in the field of LIFE SCIENCES, or a student currently pursuing a degree in life sciences.
· English mother-tongue level, Hebrew not required.
· Experience working with MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint in particular.
· Meticulous, attention to detail.
· Ability to ensure transcription maintains the appropriate feeling, tone and style.
Position: Part Time, working from: Home, start time: Immediate, pay: 40 NIS/hour, minimum hours expected per month: 14
