CauseMatch is seeking a creative and data-driven Business Development Representative to drive interest amongst non-profits for our market-leading digital fundraising solutions. As a CauseMatch BDR you are the first point of contact for prospecting and qualifying potential clients to help build a full pipeline for our sales team. The ideal candidate has previous experience developing inbound marketing leads and creating new leads through innovative outreach.

As a CauseMatch BDR you must love selling and thrive in a competitive, merit-based environment. The role is largely phone based, so enjoying to work on the phone is an absolute must. You are a great relationship builder and problem solver with a hunter mentality and will be the voice of CauseMatch as we execute and explore new channels of acquiring business. Most importantly, this is a sales role with real meaning and the ability to make a big social impact. AS A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REP YOU WILL:

● Use creative strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects
● Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
● Meticulously maintain and update CRM with all sales activities and client data
● Identify the needs and challenges of our prospective non-profit clients
● Schedule discovery meetings between sales executives and qualified prospects
● Achieve target number of activities per week to hit qualified lead/meeting/pipeline quotas
● Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
● Strategize with top-producing sales executives to target prospect accounts
● Evangelize CauseMatch product offerings across target territories
● Report weekly/monthly/quarterly sales results to Sales Manager
● Stay up-to-date with new products/services and pricing/payment plans
● Strategize with team members to innovate and improve the overall BD process


REQUIREMENTS:

● Loves nonprofits and wants to change the world
● Excellent communicator with a positive attitude
● Naturally organized and able to prioritize effectively
● Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role
● Past experience in lead generation and sales (6-12 months) is desirable
● People-person, friendly and warm
● Deals with change easily and is flexible
● Articulate with an excellent phone manner
● Language: Native English
● Experience reaching or exceeding activity goals/quotas
● Familiarity with Hubspot CRM
● Flexible working hours
● Must be able to work US hours
